We print our larger designs (those 44" wide, and their smaller versions too) on heavyweight matte watercolor/art paper because we prefer the print finish on a matte surface rather than something shiny. This means each print may have tiny imperfections that merely add to the unique character of the art. The prints require careful handling as the paper is very heavy and the finish easily marked. We recommend that when you unroll your print please treat it with respect.


The smaller designs, such as "Bathymetry" and "Why?" are printed on heavy archival paper, which has a slight visible grain.
